Molly Adams speaks to Alabama Audubon about the Feminist Bird Club and her work for NYC Audubon. Molly will discuss the history and evolving mission of the Feminist Bird Club, and ways this work is informed by her new position at NYC Audubon. This talk will include an overview of the NYC Audubon’s success in passing bird-friendly building legislation in New York City, and a discussion regarding ways of creating a welcoming space for birders of all backgrounds and abilities. 

The details: Reception will be from 6–6:30 p.m. with the talk running from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Birmingham Zoo’s Altec/Styslinger Learning Center. When you go through the main entrance and through the glass doors in the lobby, the learning center is on your right.
