Join Belén Garcia Ovide and Ocean Missions for a science-based sailing expedition around Iceland!

Ocean Missions is looking for 12 enthusiastic souls that feel the responsibility to make a positive impact on marine conservation, to become a knowledgeable inspiration source for the others and for those who want to join the change (for example, by choosing a more sustainable lifestyle). This program is recommended for people studying or just interested in Marine Science, Oceanography, Marine Biology and traditional sailing. However, we believe that everyone can and must be onboard for a change!

Sail aboard electric schooner SV Ópal around the west and north of Iceland, approximately 400 nautical miles. See whales, seabirds, and other amazing wildlife; learn to sail; study the seas; and make a case for ocean conservation!
