Jacqueline L. Scott participates in the virtual Annual Forests Ontario Conference

Safina Center Fellow Jacqueline L. Scott participates in a panel on diversity and inclusion at this year’s virtual Annual Forests Ontario Conference. Jacqueline is joined by Catherine Langille, of Project Learning Tree Canada/Outland Youth Employment Program; Demiesha Dennis, of Brown Girl Outdoor World; Janae Grafham, of Youth Circle for Mother Earth. The panel takes place on Day 3 of the conference, February 5, at 1pm— though the full conference runs February 3-5.

Every year, Forests Ontario brings together more than 400 landowners, forestry professionals, students, educators and those passionate about our forests to explore key issues: challenges to biodiversity, the value of forests to health and well-being, and the importance of local forests to communities.

This year's theme is “Growing Our Future.” Learn more about the conference here.

Registration is now closed. For information and documents request for the Conference, please contact Brooke McClelland at bmcclelland@forestsontario.ca or 416.646.1193 ext 350.
