Dr. Judith S. Weis - Professor Emerita of Biological Sciences at Rutgers University, Newark. Dr. Weis' research focuses on estuarine ecology and ecotoxicology, and she has published over 200 refereed scientific papers. She is interested in stresses in estuaries and their effects on organisms, populations, and communities.

Martin Bellew - Commissioner of the Department of Environmental Control and the President of the Islip Resource Recovery Agency. Marty has an extensive career in Solid Waste Management including the Director of the Bureau of Waste Disposal, Waste Disposal Engineering, and the Bureau of Recycling for the NYC Department of Sanitation.

Dr. Arthur Kopelman, Ph.D - Marine mammal population ecologist. Dr. Kopelman, is the president of the Coastal Research and Education Society of LI (CRESLI),a director at Save the Great South Bay, a Professor Emeritus of Science/Ecology in the Dept. of Science and Mathematics at SUNY F.I.T. and holds the rank of SUNY Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus.
