Dr. J. Drew Lanham delivers keynote talk at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s 18th annual Conservation Symposium

Join the Cleveland Museum of Natural History’s 18th annual Conservation Symposium, which features important discussions and showcases the efforts of individuals who are at the intersections of health, culture, economics, and nature. How do different communities view and prioritize conversation efforts? How can we make those efforts more inclusive? And what are the various ways we can encourage everyone to listen to the land? Speakers representing a wide range of organizations and personal initiatives will cover a variety of topics related to these ideas and intersections.

Safina Center Fellow Dr. J. Drew Lanham will be delivering the symposium’s keynote, The Home Place: Memoirs of a Colored Man’s Love Affair with Nature, at 11:40am EDT on September 10. (Conference starts at 9am EDT.)

Attendees can participate in this year’s symposium in person at the Museum or virtually via Zoom livestream.
